Cybage to set up center in Gujarat

MUMBAI: Pune-based Cybage has signed a MoU for investment in Gandhinagar to the tune of Rs 10 crore.

“We are looking at scaling up our operations in different geographies and amongst those that we have studied, Gujarat provides a very good option in terms of infrastructure and costs,” says Arun Nathani, president, Cybage.

The company intends to open the center in the next few month and hopes to fill the vacancy at the new center initially through shift of internal employees.

“A lot of our employees at Pune center are open to shifting to Ahmedabad and they could help us in setting up a team there,” adds Nathani.

The software solutions company caters to clients like Microsoft, Altiris, Athenahealth, Popkin Software, DoubleClick and DigitalRiver.

With over 80 per cent of its revenues coming in from North America and the rest 20 per cent from other geographies, the company is also looking at domestic clients like HSBC, Idea and Microsoft (in India).
