Your top priority while making decisions to improve tech infra in your organization?
For us at Synechron, taking our already best-in-class tech infrastructure to the next level is ideally a two-pronged approach. We view it from the customer stand-point as well as the employee point of view. We are at the forefront of Digital Innovation for the Fintech sphere and benchmark our work on futuristic technologies like Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) through our in-house Financial Innovation Labs called FinLabs.
It is through FinLabs that we have rolled-out cutting-edge solutions for the Financial Services industry which are implemented by our clients across the globe. Upgrading our coveted Accelerator Program to our FinLabs 2.0 module is what is on the cards.

Simultaneously, there is an unparalleled focus on nurturing top-notch talent through a variety of initiatives including hackathons, coding competitions and various other reskilling initiatives to ensure our employees evolve into subject matter experts with deep domain understanding and thus solve our client’s toughest technology challenges. This approach of ours has actually been appreciated by our clients and a few of them are even in talks with us to replicate the same for their employees!
Challenges you face in driving digital transformation?
We are a part of a constantly evolving industry and the skills learnt and mastered today are becoming obsolete tomorrow. The sheer processes of ensuring our specialists are not working on outdated skillsets and their reskilling is one challenge we face and we are overcoming it!
Do you feel that freshers in the industry come with only basic knowledge but don’t have right skills to fulfil job requirements? If yes, your suggestion to students and colleges?
I believe that the talent just out of their engineering schools is wonderfully resourceful and have their skills in place. However, in order to face the stiff competition and make a mark, they need to be passionate about what they are doing. A holistic collaboration effort with numerous stakeholders is absolutely necessary to hone their skills.
Also, thanks to a wonderfully evolving industry, one needs to understand the importance of “Unlearning and Relearning” and continue to learn new technologies, concepts and the likes. As they say, ‘Practice Makes Perfect’, one needs to practice until it becomes a muscle memory. Small initiatives like these would help young graduates to make a wonderful career in the tech industry.
What’s your mantra to become successful in life?
I feel nurturing and enhancing relationships plays an intrinsic role in one’s success. Relationships are built not only on trust but also on the aspect of how you empower your people and are an enabler for their success.

What would you like to give back to the society?
Making the world a better place for the underprivileged sections of the society, especially underprivileged kids is what I dream of and also work on.
Your favorite book and what are you reading now?
While my all-time favorite book is ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’ by Dale Carnegie, I am currently reading ‘Beyond the last blue mountain’ – a book wonderfully written on the life of J.R.D Tata.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
While spare time is actually a luxury for me, I utilize whatever I get by spending it in a quality manner with my family – preferably at a quiet and serene beach in a secluded place. I also love auto racing on the race track.
