The data centre is in the San Diego Spectrum area of Claremont Mesa, California, and will provide services such as disaster recovery, remote infrastructure management and cloud services for existing customers targeting the western markets.

It will also provide other benefits such as reduced response time through management of Indian and US servers, accountability under single uptime SLA, invoicing in Indian currency, local number calling support and access to resources as per Indian time zone.

Sridhar Reddy, founder & CEO, CtrlS Datacenters Ltd., said: "The data centre in the US region is critical to the growth of the company since 20 per cent of our customers are MNCs, and we are happy to provide similar reliable services in the American region. This enables us to offer an overseas option for our existing customers who are targeting the western markets. The data centre will help CtrlS provide infrastructure and technological offerings, existing in India, to customers in the US region and help them solve mission critical situations."
