SANTA CLARA, US: Top industry investors, innovators and executives will come together on October 27 at Investorfest Media’s MobiTechFest Americas in Santa Clara. The full-day conference will bring together leading investors with prior history and active focus on the mobile and wireless sector to hear directly from a broad range of entrepreneurs delivering devices, mobile applications and platforms for 3G, 4G, mobile web and other mobile communications technologies.

Only select, pre-screened companies will be able to present at the event and, as such, companies seeking capital must apply for consideration. Additionally, MobiTechFest is partnering for the first time with CTIA-The Wireless Association, and will offer six of the finalists the opportunity to pitch their business plans on the keynote stage at the annual International CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment show in San Diego on October 9, 2009.

Applications to present must be submitted to MobiTechFest before September 23 in order to be considered for the CTIA spotlight opportunity. A review committee comprised of partners from top VC firms such as Norwest Venture Partners, Storm Ventures, Opus Capital and Blumberg Capital will evaluate the applications.
