CSS wins IBM's 'Great Mind Challenge' award

BANGALORE, INDIA: CSS, a technology operations management organization headquartered in San Jose, USA, has won 'The Great Mind Challenge for Business 2009 Award' for the most Innovative Collaboration Solution.

CSS has received the award for its "Sametime Implementation" across the organization, said a press release.

Terming the award as an outstanding achievement, Nick Sharma, CEO of CSS, said, “This demonstrates our commitment to creating world-class solutions that maximize ROI for our customers.”

He added, “CSS Labs is helping our customers in adopting new technology platforms, with an objective of enhancing our clients’ technology OPEX optimization through cost-effective and innovative solutions.”

CSS said it had implemented the Sametime application to act as a unified communication and collaborative tool across for its 4500+ employees worldwide.

The solution encompassed Sametime integration with the company’s Open Source chat server, CSS Botnie for unified access to the enterprise resources using Sametime client for desktop and mobile, an audio and video conference for internal office meetings and communications, as well as Sametime integration with intranet portals and integration with Lotus Quickr.

Instituted in 2009, 'The Great Mind Challenge for Business Award' are annual awards which recognizes visionary IBM India clients who have successfully implemented IBM software solutions to create exceptional business value, said the release.

This award was presented at the IBM Software Universe, IBM’s flagship Software Group event, in Mumbai.
