CSS Software India plans for major expansion in India

CHENNAI: CSS
Group has announced that it has set up a dedicated IT services subsidiary,
CSS Software India, for its India business.

CSS Software India will aggressively target the Indian IT services market. As
part of the domestic market expansion, the company plans to open 12 new offices
in India over the next three-six months.

The offices will come up in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune,
Calcutta, Ahmedabad, and Nagpur, among other cities.

CSS Software India plans to hire over 500 professionals in the next 12 months
for its India business that will quadruple its headcount to over 650 from the
current 150 employees.

CSS Software India, which offers software development, testing
and infrastructure management, will target the Telecom, BFSI and Manufacturing
verticals in India. The company currently has over 10 customers in India
including leading private sector banks, telecom providers and automobile
manufacturers.

Commenting on the company's aggressive India expansion, Shiva Ramani,
Co-Founder, CSS Group said, “India is one of the fastest growing IT markets,
with most of the companies increasing their technology spend. The CSS Group has
a proven global track record in world-class delivery that has resulted in 100
per cent referenceable customers. With the launch of the Indian subsidiary, we

domestic Indian market and aim to replicate the success we have had in the
global market.”

customer base in India over the next 6 - 12 months.”

The CSS Group has SlashSupport
(Technical Support), ReadyTestGo (Software Testing), Cybernet
Software (Software Development) and Synaptris (Software Products) under its
fold. The CSS Group has an offshore infrastructure presence in India across 12
delivery centers.
