CSS gets Parzinkas to head Australia sales operations

CHENNAI: CSS (Cybernet Software Systems) Group, the San Jose Headquartered IT Services Group with offshore facilities in Chennai, has appointed Bill Parzinkas, as Director-Sales of its Australia operations.

CSS had earlier this month announced its foray into Australia with the setting up of a 100% Subsidiary and the opening up of a full-fledged office in Melbourne.

Commenting on his move to join the CSS Group, Parzinkas said, “Our aim

is to make CSS Australia a strong player in APAC, making it a major contributor to the group as a whole. To create the same spirit and culture that exists in the CSS Group today and ensure the organization's goals and ideals are replicated in Australia.”

Parzinkas has over 19 years of experience in the software industry, with 14 years of selling IT solutions to large enterprises in the ANZ (Australia-New Zealand) and APAC region. He has also been exposed to general management, marketing and business development within Australia and other markets (Asia, UK, RSA), dealing with senior level decision makers.

His technology exposure includes Network security, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, CRM and application management, engaging clients in major domains such as BFSI, Government (State & Federal), Manufacturing,

Retail and Health.

His past employers include Trend Micro, Hummingbird, Pegasystems, Platinum Technology, ANZ Bank and BMW.

He has also managed Tier 1 & Tier 2 channel partners and global system integrators such as IBM, EDS, CSC, HP & Fujitsu.

Recently, Softbank Asia Infrastructure Fund (SAIF) Partners, one of APAC's

largest private equity funds, invested $22.5 million in the CSS Group.
