CSS inks deal with South African firm

CHENNAI, INDIA: Offshore technology operations management company Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS), has signed a partnership with mySolutions, a Pretoria, South Africa-headquartered IT solutions company.

As per the partnership, mySolutions will market CSS's offerings in the African market while CSS will provide offshore technology delivery and development support.

The partnership will target government organisations, banks, retail and manufacturing companies in South Africa, Botswana and Kenya with its Lotus Notes software services and support offering, CSS said in a press release.

Sridhar Kulasekharan, COO, CSS, said: "The South African IT market is expected to expand in 2008 on the back of favorable economic development. This partnership combines our offshore technology capability with their strong local market knowledge and expertise."

CSS employs around 5000 employees at its offshore facilities in Chennai and Coimbatore. The company also has a facility in the US, a redundancy center in Singapore and a near shore facility in Poland.
