CSC wins $135 mn U.S. Navy contract

SAN JOSE, USA: U.S. technology services provider Computer Sciences Corp said it won a $135 million contract to support U.S. Navy aircraft carriers.

The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options. CSC said it was awarded the order in its fourth quarter that ended April 2.

Under the agreement, CSC will provide program, lifecycle, and other support services for PEO Aircraft Carriers, a department of the U.S. Navy which manages aircraft carriers.

Shares of CSC closed at $50.19 Tuesday on New York Stock Exchange.
