Nityanand will continue CSC's efforts to expand the company's market presence and global delivery capabilities in India, and will be responsible for recruitment, training and resource management of CSC's Indian workforce of more than 24,000 employees.

"Neeraj's leadership in India will be an important factor as we realign our global resources to deliver repeatable infrastructure and applications offerings to clients around the world," said Thomas E. Hogan, executive vice president and general manager of CSC's Global Business Services and Regions. "We have very purposefully elevated India's role within our new organizational design because the high-quality workforce that we have amassed here will play an increasingly vital role in our go-forward strategy."

Previously, Nityanand was Senior Vice President of CSC's Global Business Services (GBS) consulting unit where he led CSC's India Direct initiative, designed to increase the company's footprint in India. Nityanand was also responsible for new business within its GBS unit that required complex deal structuring, governance and global delivery from India and Vietnam.
