Covid-19 outbreak

One of the biggest challeges of the COVID-19 outbreak is tracking the movement of the infected people as many of them are still hiding their travel history and people they met. A smartphone can become a great source to gather this information. Innefu Labs has developed an app, that can inform users when they are near anyone infected with Covid-19 and has been advised to be in quarantine.

The app is named "Unmaze" that can provide the government organisations real workable data on the movement of people. It uses GPS (location) data and provides error-free accurate movement data.

Tarun Wig, founder of Innefu Labs said that the app is available to the authorities for free. This can help authorities to use location data to track the user’s movement as well as to create informative maps about Covid-19 infections.

How does this app work?

Once installed, it gets access to the GPS of the phone and creates a unique ID of the user. The app has its own database, so utilising your phone's GPS data it notifies the user in case there is any COVID infected person nearby.

It not only tracks COVID-19 infected patient, additionally, it also helps to track its travel history. Meaning wherever the person travelled in the past 14 days and people who came in touch.

"But, this is possible if all the users have this app in their phone", said Tarun Wig. As no agency is tracking any COVID infected patient. Having the app on your phone will be useful for every user to beware about the outbreak and maintain the distance with infected ones if they are nearby.
