e-Cosmos signs agreement with Lineo

NEW DELHI: Bangalore-based e-Cosmos Technologies Ltd., a technology solutions
provider with focus on Embedded Technology and Medical Electronics, has
announced an agreement with the Lineo Inc., provider of Embedded Software
Solutions. Lineo has appointed e-Cosmos as its training partner to conduct
training classes at the University of Mysore Computer Center.



e-Cosmos has set up a state-of-the-art Embedded System Laboratory and Training
Center at the University of Mysore Computer Center. The courses would be
conducted by Lineo Certified Trainers, added G Vanitha.



Announcing the signing of the agreement, e-Cosmos Technologies chairperson and M
D, G Vanitha said, "Lineo is a world leader in embedded technology and we
are pleased to be appointed by them as a Training Partner. It would be our
commitment to conduct high quality Lineo training classes, at the University of
Mysore Computer Center, to help meet the growing demand from the industry for
professionals trained in embedded software."



Speaking on the occasion, Lineo India country manager, Ajay M Kapoor said,
"We chose e-Cosmos Technologies as our training partner primarily because
of their tie-up with the University of Mysore. We would like to be an integral
part of the joint efforts by the University of Mysore and e-Cosmos to offer
industry specific courses to the students on Embedded Software Technology"

Lineo plans to offer certification to the students who successfully complete the
exam conducted jointly by e-Cosmos and Lineo and ensure that the certificate is
recognized by the industry and they get good jobs, added Kapoor.
