Cosign launches portal solution

CHENNAI: Short on the heels of the launch of Finvest and Task Manager, Cosign has launched Converger, which can be used for developing any enterprise portals, information and workflow application. Converger is a multi-purpose product, which can be used in the areas of knowledge management, enterprise content management, document management, e-learning, workflow based applications, business process automation, rapid application development, reporting applications, mobile applications and web enabling enterprise applications.



The product is easily customizable and can be implemented in a short period of time. Further, it is browser based for hassle free access from anywhere. Converger is built using Microsoft technology and supports database like Oracle, SQL and access. It is completely based on XML technology and uses web services extensively throughout the product and complies with the Industry standards.



Converger will cost Rs 3 lakh for minimum 50 users and for additional 50 users the pricing will come upto Rs 2.5 lakh. Cosign is going to appoint six distributors in six cities — Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. Cosign is looking for business partners who would do consulting, implementation, training and support for the company.



By March 2003, it would also be looking at business prospects in Middle East and Singapore. Funded by Intel, Chennai-based Cosign is an IT-solutions provider with special focus in the area of online information and content management system.
