Corel Corp gets new country manager

NEW DELHI,INDIA : Digital software provider Corel Corporation today announced the appointment of Giridharan Govindswamy as its India country manager.

In his role as country manager for Corel Corporation, Govindswamy will strive to increase overall country business revenue.

“Giri joins Corel with a wealth of experience in the Channel Business in India and an understanding of the Anti Piracy Business as well as Vertical Solution selling,” said Gavin Watson, director – Asia Pacific.

Govindswamy told that his immediate task was to educate the channel partners – to engage in pre-sales activities model rather than focusing on fulfillment business, various incentive programs which would be devised to gain the mind share and show more profitability for the partner’s community.

Govindswamy is a Diploma holder in Electronics and Telecommunications and has 15 years of expertise in sales and marketing.

Before joining Corel, he was with Kinfotech as AGM for Adobe, Autodesk M&ED, Autodesk PTD & Corel.
