CoreEL named Virage Logic's India sales rep

FREMONT, USA: In an effort at expanding its presence in India, Virage Logic Corporation has appointed CoreEL as its sales representative in the country.

Virage Logic, considered to be the semiconductor industry's trusted IP partner, has said that CoreEL would join its global network of sales representatives. With the new appointment, Virage Logic has expanded presence in India to serve the growing market demand for broad IP portfolio.

The company has said that the decision to bring in CoreEL on board to service its growing India customer base comes at a time when the semiconductor industry continues to globalize and more semiconductor companies rely on their India-based teams to grow.

CoreEL, which is a known name in India after having worked with the networking, telecom, computing, consumer, industrial, defense and automotive customers in India, believes that with Virage Logic’s highly differentiated IP offering that includes embedded SRAMs, embedded NVMs, embedded memory test and repair, logic libraries, memory development software, and interface IP solutions, it would be able to provide better value to customers.

Bangalore-based CoreEL Technologies has businesses spread across third-party technology solutions, VLSI and embedded training and value added design, while the Virage Logic product portfolio includes embedded SRAMs, embedded NVMs, embedded memory test and repair, logic libraries, memory development software, and interface IP solutions.
