Concerto tech center goes live in B'lore

NEW DELHI: Concerto Software has announced the opening of its technology center in Bangalore. The center, which operates under the name of Concerto Software Applications & Development Pvt Ltd, is an expansion of Concerto Software's global business operations and includes R&D, quality assurance, technical support, professional services and sales, in addition to training facilities and technology labs.

According to the press release, the new office will help Concerto better serve its rapidly growing customer base by offering extended global technical support that provides assistance on a 24x7 basis. The developers and testing engineers at the center are already contributing to Concerto Software's flagship products.

The technical support team is currently up and running and providing customer support. All technical support engineers have received extensive training in both the US and India and are well versed in the latest technology and advancements. Concerto Software will continue to grow the technical support team in Bangalore throughout the next year.

Srinivas Katharguppe, who joined Concerto in August, will manage the Concerto technology center. He will oversee all aspects of the center, including engineering, support, professional services and all general administrative functions including IT and human resources.

"The center is an integral part of our global business and is a result of our success and leadership position in the India market," said Concerto president and CEO, Jim Foy. "Expanding our presence in India will give us additional competitive advantage in the India market and will allow us to provide our partners and growing customer base with the highest level of service possible," he added.
