NEW DELHI: US-based, Nasdaq listed Concerto Software, a software provider in the customer interaction management space, would accelerate its focus in the country with increased investment and manpower hiring in the three cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. The company also intends to increase its base of partners.

Driving this increased focus in the country is the phenomenal sales registered in the country. India contributed 10 percent of the revenue of the company's global product sales. Of the 100 new customers acquired last year, over 24 percent were from India.

Speaking about the company's investment plans in the country, Pramod Ratwani, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Concerto said, "We plan to invest over $5 million in the country over the next several years. We also plan to make India the hub of our activities for the Gulf region. UAE, Bahrain Saudi Arabia are emerging business destinations for us."

During the last calendar year, the company tied up with several new partners notably Wipro Ltd. and IBM Global Solutions.
