BANGALORE: Computer Associates Inc (CA) has tied up with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) with a view to offering a range of services in India and the growing markets in the other member-countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC).

The tie-up is expected to leverage on Unicenter TNG, CA's enterprise management solution, and the expertise of its Global Professional Services organization. CA will contribute its expertise in information technology to support PwC's implementations of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure management systems. The partnership with CA will equip PwC to offer its clients an IT infrastructure management solution using Unicenter TNG, besides consulting and systems integration services to its clients. PwC also plans to establish a Unicenter TNG competency centre with CA, to showcase CA's solutions at PwC's technology centre in India.

According to CA (India) managing director Venkat Subbarao the tie-up with PwC is favorable because of CA's business and technical competence in handling solutions such as Unicenter TNG, thereby adding value to the process of building a satisfied client base in the region.
