Compulink opens Rs 10 cr campus

PUNE: Software solutions and services company Compulink Systems, is setting up a new software development center at Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Pune. The new facility will be Compulink's primary center for marketing and IT support services.




"It will act as our global customer support center for prime software engineering and development," said Compulink Systems CEO Vishwas Mahajan. "It will cater to our current and future clients globally."




Spread over an area of three acres, the center will go live by March 2005. Phase I comprises of 50,000 sq. ft and Phase II of 30,000 sq. ft. Investment in the new center is envisaged at Rs 10 crore and is funded by a mix of equity, reserves and debt. It will have a capacity to seat 350 IT professionals, of which 225 IT professionals will be hired in Phase I.




Compulink will be in the vicinity of some of the leading names in the IT industry such as Infosys, Wipro, Geometric, Cognizant and Tata Technologies. In addition, leading IT education campuses like Symbiosis and IIIT are also located at Hinjewadi.




Established in 1996 and headquartered in Pune, Compulink is a software product and productized services company creating solutions for services execution management. ProjectByNet is Compulink's flagship product, sold directly in all the cities in India, in addition to being sold to partners like Wipro and Patni. Compulink recently received investments from National Venture Capital Fund for Software and Information Technology, set up by Ministry of Information and Technology.
