Compaq unveils e-business solution

BANGALORE: Compaq has launched a special e-business solution, NonStop, catered to manufacturing companies. The company has signed a MoU with Tata Technologies for partnership in marketing, sales and projects aimed at providing enterprise solutions to manufacturing companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

On the occasion Compaq senior vice president Enrico Pesatori said that the present focus of the alliance with Tata Tech will be on India and Singapore. On selecting Tata Tech as a partner, Compaq VP & MD Paul Chan said the experience of Tatas as a large conglomerate could help the alliance partners in understanding the functioning and needs of manufacturing companies and provide e-business solution.

With regard to the details of the strategy of NonStop e-solutions, Mr Pesatori said the flexible nature of NonStop would save millions of dollars for companies through reduction in unplanned expenditure. Mr Chan, while addressing the press said the alliance with Tata Tech would help in bringing best products, solutions and services to enterprises and provide support across the chain from suppliers to dealers and customers.
