PORTLAND,USA: CompanionLink Software has released DejaOffice for Windows Phone 8 including USB Sync for Microsoft Outlook.
DejaOffice synchronizes PC Outlook Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes over USB cable to the 41-megapixel Nokia Lumia 1020, the 4G-connected Lumia 625, and the slim and sharp Lumia 925. DejaOffice provides a robust Contact, Calendar, Task and Memo app suite that includes advanced features like day and month calendar views and private memos. CompanionLink supports Lumia USB sync with Outlook 2013 and prior versions, Act!, GoldMine, and IBM Notes.
"Hot Sync is not dead; direct USB sync remains the most secure way to move data from computers to devices!" says Wayland Bruns, CTO of CompanionLink Software, a leading developer of USB sync for PC and modern mobile platforms. "Recent NSA disclosures indicate that Cloud data may be passed on to outside parties without you knowing. Office 365® licensing allows you to download Office 2013. With local data and USB Sync, your Contact and Calendar management is faster and more secure than web based services."
DejaOffice for Windows Phones 8 is a free download from the Windows Phone Store. You can download a 14-day trial of CompanionLink from www.companionlink.com/windowsphone/outlook. If you like it, a lifetime license costs just $49.95. CompanionLink also offers a RunStart service, and for $39 a technician will remotely log into your computer and set up everything for you.
