Vendors can hold training sessions, have videoconferences, meetings and a host of other activities.

Elaborating on the reasons for choosing Nehru Place for opening Infobiz, Sharma said, “All the IT businesses are driven primarily through Nehru Place market. Approximately Rs 100 crore is being traded here every day. The rent on an average for a meter of space in Nehru place, if available, is Rs 4,000. It is un-affordable to maintain an office space with a meeting room, pantry and other necessary services. Through this business center one can avail of a ready-to-use high tech office space with state-of-art technology and provisions which any organization can afford.”

When asked about the need to open a business center at Nehru Place, Sharma said, “We found that there are only a few vendor companies whose offices are here, but major vendors come here on a daily basic to hold meetings and for other official purposes. We saw a great demand for business centers. Vendors can use our services, hold training programs and other official meetings here. This will not only save them time but also money.”

Citing an example, Sharma said that in the event that a vendors needs to hold a training for 15-20 channel partners in Nehru Place, instead of booking a five start hotel, they can get the same services for Rs 10,000 to 15,000 at Infobiz.

Talking about the responses he expects from Infobiz, Sharma said that it would take some time for people to accept the concept. “We have given ourselves three to four months for it. By the fourth month we will be seeing the results,” he informed.

He further added that Infobiz would offer its services only to principle companies and would not be available for everyone.
