Coming soon, a 'mysterious' Harry Potter website

BANGALORE, INDIA: Even as rumours are aplenty about a new Harry Potter book, celebrated author J.K. Rowling has launched a mysterious new Harry Potter website, www.pottermore.com.

The website has no editorial content as of now, except a “Coming soon...” message and link to a YouTube page, that features a countdown clock as per which the site will go live in six days, which means June 23. However, the homepage design featuring two owls predicts there is something 'mysterious', typical of the Potter series!

Even though Rowling's spokesperson Rebecca Salt confirmed this is a new project, and it is not about a book, she refused to divulge further details thus intensifying rumours and speculations — is it related to a new movie then? Or, is it that Harry Potter will become an online hero? Harry Potter freaks will have to wait for a few more days.

Along with this a Twitter account and a YouTube page have also been created for Pottermore. And the first tweet, which also contains the YouTube link, reads: 'Looks like the owls are getting ready to deliver some exciting news'.
