Melville, N.Y.-based Comax Flavors is a global leader in the development of flavor technology for the food and beverage industry, adds a press release. The manufacturer chose S2K Enterprise for Manufacturing because of its ability to provide a fully integrated manufacturing solution that could easily interface with Comax’s existing back-end software packages. S2K will allow Comax to automate and track the usage of material and labor, greatly improving production time and reducing errors. Additionally, S2K harnesses the power of the Internet, allowing streamlined customer and supplier collaboration to execute business processes quickly across critical applications.

Laura Ferrante, Director of Administration, Comax Flavors, commented, “We selected S2K Enterprise for Manufacturing after our managed service provider, Network Solutions and Technology (NST), suggested we take a look at VAI. As a Long Island-based company, Comax was impressed with VAI’s solution offerings, professionalism and industry knowledge. Additionally, the fact that VAI was local made the choice an easy one.”

Tony Milano, Eastern Region Territory Manager, VAI, said, “Comax Flavors is a well-known flavor developer–consistently delivering exceptional products. The manufacturer was in need of a software package capable of seamlessly managing its operations. With S2K, Comax can expect an integrated solution to increase the company’s forecast accuracy, eliminate time-consuming manual processes and deliver positive bottom-line results.”
