CloudMine joins Rackspace Marketplace

PHILADELPHIA, USA: CloudMine, the enterprise mobile backend-as-a-service provider, today announced it has joined the Rackspace Marketplace to provide enterprise customers with access to a cloud-based mobile platform to enable rapid, low-maintenance development of enterprise-grade mobile applications.

Customers can elect to use CloudMine's hosted multi-tenant solution, or to deploy a private instance of CloudMine's platform within their own Rackspace environment. Customers in the healthcare, health insurance, and pharmaceutical industries also have the option of using CloudMine's and Rackspace's special technology stack that enables easier development of apps that comply with the HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules through the use of separated, fully-encrypted databases for PHI and PII, and built-in breach monitoring and reporting mechanisms.

Through this relationship, customers will have access to CloudMine's suite of mobile-targeted web services, native mobile and web SDKs, and dataset integration technology. The power and flexibility of the Rackspace Hybrid Cloud and CloudMine's cost-and time-saving mobile development and integration platform will allow enterprises to build, deploy, maintain, and secure internally-and externally-facing mobile apps at a fraction of the cost and time that traditional development processes require.

Mobile app adoption and BYOD both increase month after month, while at the same time enterprises continue their efforts to reduce annual IT expenditures. By providing a fully prefabricated set of backend web services and data integration technology targeted at mobile devices, CloudMine allows its clients to build higher quality, secure, data-driven apps faster and at far more affordable prices than they could before.
