BANGALORE, INDIA: Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., sees an increased demand for, and adoption of its cloud offerings from businesses in Asia Pacific as the company continues to execute on its cloud development strategy.

“Asia Pacific is a fast developing yet fragmented market. Enterprises across the region have very different requirements when they look for the latest cloud solutions because of local market conditions. The Hitachi Data Systems cloud approach is unique in allowing organizations in Asia Pacific to build, scale and deploy agile cloud services and solutions at their own pace to meet existing needs,” said Kevin Eggleston, senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific, Hitachi Data Systems. “If additional solutions are required to be installed down the line as the customer’s business evolves and grows, this can be accomplished affordably, quickly and seamlessly by adding single components as required – no more, no less.”

According to a company release, one of the key enablers of the Hitachi Data Systems cloud strategy is its integration of storage, server and data network components into a single, integrated cloud infrastructure foundation known as the infrastructure cloud. The company’s converged solution delivers significant advantages in the performance, deployment speed, reliability and management of these components and solves many of the concerns organizations have about the deployment of cloud solutions.
