NEW YORK, USA: Clearwire Corp, roughly 55 percent owned by Sprint Nextel Corp, plans to keep unlimited data plans, even as some wireless carriers look to move away from them, a spokesman said.

Clearwire's comments come after AT&T Inc said on Wednesday it will stop offering an unlimited pricing plan for new subscribers to its mobile data services, in a move it said will cut prices for as many as 98 percent of its customers.
Analysts are betting US market leader Verizon Wireless, owned by Verizon Communications Inc and Vodafone Group Plc, could be prepared to follow AT&T's lead, but other carriers may be better served by standing their ground in the latest pricing upheaval.
