Clearwire appoints Erik Prusch as CEO

BANGALORE, INDIA: Wireless telecommunications network operator Clearwire Corp appointed Erik Prusch as its chief executive officer, effective immediately.

The company, which is majority owned by Sprint Nextel, said the company's interim CEO John Stanton will assume the responsibility of executive chairman of the board.
