Open Source is our next level: Microsoft

"ClearOS offers the highest level of integration and openness available in the open source community. Many elements, including MultiWAN, HotLAN, and unlimited mailbox support, are now available for use and further open development. Soon a day will come when all networking gear runs open software and services," added Proper.

ClearFoundation's ClearOS provides an optimal IT solution for environments through integration with "in the cloud" services from ClearCenter and others like Google Apps. Adding value to ClearOS, ClearCenter offers free software and bug fixes for the current versions of ClearOS.

Myths about open source developers

"No other Linux distribution provides the tightly integrated services of ClearOS 5.1," said John H. Terpstra, President of ClearFoundation.

The open ClearOS API allows a flexible platform for connectivity to third-party open and closed applications, both locally on the platform and in the cloud.
