CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA: Classic FTP for Mac OS X, the latest addition by NCH Software to Mac OS application range, is ready for release, the company has announced.

"This FTP client for Mac is based on our successful Windows version so it shares many of the same features," said Stephanie Lee, marketing manager for the Canberra based company. "It includes a handy 'Mirror and Upload' tool, where it will scan the selected local folder and upload any files that do not exist in the selected remote folder as well as facilitate synchronization between the local folders and the remote folders."

As its name suggests, Classic FTP has been specifically designed to look and feel like a typical ftp client. It is designed as an easy to use ftp client that allows you to view, edit, upload, download and delete files from a remote server (website) or network.

"Like many of our other current releases, Classic FTP for Mac is a freeware application, " said Stephanie. "Our reasoning behind this is to show users the quality of our software applications so that in the future if they are looking for another type of application they keep us in mind. We do eventually release paid versions of most applications but offer a basic version, with core functionality, completely free."
