Citrix in pact with SAP, introduces CBA program in India

BANGALORE: Citrix Systems, Inc., engaged in application serving and portal software and services, extended its worldwide strategic alliance with SAP in India. The alliance also marks the beginning of Citrix Business Alliance (CBA) Program in India. This program will overlook and assist the market accelerate growth of application server computing.



"The Citrix Business Alliance program is building partnerships with industry leaders worldwide, whose applications, services and content best serve our customers' needs," said Citrix Systems Asia Pacific Pty. Ltd, Regional Alliance Director, Michael McGrath.



The Citrix Business Alliance Program is a growing coalition of industry vendors who are working with Citrix to develop complementary products and markets for WinFrame and MetaFrame thin-client/server software in the areas of remote/branch office computing, cross-platform computing, Web computing and thin-client/server computing.



The alliance with SAP is expected to help companies more quickly and easily deploy application server computing solutions using a combination of software, hardware and services. The alliance includes coordination of marketing and technical support activities.
