Citrix, NIIT to offer server-based technology training

NEW DELHI: Citrix Software Ltd., India has announced its alliance with NIIT,
an IT training company, in offering training on Application Server Software to
meet the growing demand for Citrix certified professionals in India.

The NIIT's Citrix Authorized Learning Center (CALC) will provide Citrix
certification and technical instruction for the installation and administration
of Citrix products. NIIT will deliver these courses beginning May 28, 2001 in
Mumbai and later in Delhi, Bangalore and

Chennai. The first course being offered is CTX-302.2, a three day course that
will prepare Microsoft Windows administrators to expertly perform Citrix
Metaframe installations and advanced administrative tasks.

Citrix training and certification program will add value to IT professionals
by building their knowledge and skills and make them even more marketable in the
highly competitive industry in India. This training will be beneficial to
Citrix's CSN community of resellers and system integrators as it will give them
the competitive edge of greater expertise and demonstrate to customers their
commitment to high quality service. For corporates, training and certification
will help maximize the benefits and full functionality of Citrix solutions and
expedites software implementation assuring time-to-market to deliver
organizational value.

"As server-based computing technology is rapidly becoming the computing

architecture of choice, for a majority of corporates in India, we felt the
need to offer our courses to IT administrators in these organizations, and our
channel community," said Citrix Software director of marketing Anil Menon.
