Citrix acquires Reflectent Software

MUMBAI: Infrastructure solutions provider Citrix

Systems today announced its acquisition of privately held Reflectent Software,

provider of the industry's solutions to monitor the performance of

client-server, web and desktop applications from an end user perspective.






Terms of the deal were not disclosed.





Following several successful acquisitions over the past two years, Citrix
continues to execute on its aggressive growth strategy to leverage its

leadership in access and move into adjacent, high-growth segments of the access

infrastructure market.






Reflectent specializing in application performance monitoring, is part of a
larger market for access management solutions.






Lou Shipley, general manager and vice president, Citrix, said "Citrix's
large, global partner network will give Reflectent a way to reach those

customers quickly, efficiently and with a value proposition that resonates and

fits right in with their Citrix-based access strategy."






Templeton, president and chief executive officer, Citrix, said, "with
Reflectent's products and expertise, we are taking the next step in enabling IT

services to be provided on a utility model.”
