NEW DELHI: Citrix Systems, Inc., provider of access infrastructure solutions, has announced an eLearning outsourcing relationship with Accenture, a management consulting and technology services company. Under this agreement, Citrix would offer customers as well as more than 6,000 channel partners and its more than 300 Citrix Authorized Learning Centers (CALCs) access to eLearning courses hosted and supported by Accenture.

Courses would address key products in the new Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite, which provides easy, secure, instant access to managed resources for the on-demand enterprise.

The first phase of eLearning courses, available now, for Citrix channel partners provides training on selling and positioning Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager. A similar course is available for Citrix MetaFrame Password Manager.

In addition, channel partners would also benefit from a new eLearning course that offers foundational knowledge of key security infrastructure concepts. This course addresses how products within the Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite enable a secure infrastructure, and educates partners on how to maintain security at the client, server and network levels.

The new eLearning courses would expand the reach of Citrix educational offerings for customers and further develop the sales skills of its channel partners with the goal of increasing the penetration of Citrix access infrastructure solutions among its customer base of more than 120,000 organizations worldwide.

Through flexible, interactive programs and self-study options, customers and channel partners can learn online at a comfortable pace and avoid the time commitment and costs required to participate in traditional instructor-led training (ILT) courses.
