Cisco intros Borderless Profithon partner programme

BANGALORE, INDIA: Networking gear maker Cisco announced the launch of Borderless Profithon partner programme aimed at SMB and mid-market segment for routing, switching, security and wireless technologies.

It is designed to drive awareness for Cisco’s borderless networks architecture.

The programme will be live until April 29, 2011. The company plans to undertake a 30-city roadshow to educate customers, on the benefits of borderless networks architecture and partners, on ways to derive greater profits from the borderless networks portfolio.

Avinash Purwar, senior vice president, Borderless Network, Cisco said, “Indian SMB and mid market customers, while being price-sensitive, are also aware of the value and competitive advantage that good technology infrastructure can bring to their business."

Pramodh Menon, senior vice president, Cisco India & SAARC said, "We foresee immense growth from our SMB and mid-market business. In order to fully realize the potential of this segment, we have focused on strengthening and forging long-term partner relationships in these markets."
