Cisco bets big on networking

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Cisco today announced a major milestone in its ongoing efforts to equip more people for successful careers in networking.

To date, Cisco has issued more than one million certifications to networking professionals globally, including nearly 20,000 CCIE (Cisco-Certified Internetworking Expert) expert level credentials. Of these, India has 69,504 Cisco-certified professionals of which 229 are CCIE-certified.

Cisco certifications enable employers to validate the quality of their organization's employees while providing individuals the opportunity to differentiate their skills and advance their careers.
