In his session ‘Digital Innovation Driven Enterprise Strategy’, Dr. Anil M Paingankar, Principal Lead, Architecture GMT Practice, Wipro focused on the importance of an open and collaborative ecosystem, wherein all the business stakeholders have to play a proactive as well as reactive part.

Since the customer is more empowered and connected, so services should go beyond the business. Enterprises should be service-driven, have flexible business and operation model and have strong partner collaborations as well. The mantra is “Do more with less.”

It has become imperative to transform to digital world as only then will the system know you, understand you and respond to your demands and requirements. Digital innovation changes business environment and inspires the enterprise strategy. The enterprise architecture is a key driver of the business strategy. So, it is the CIO’s office that ensures that the Enterprise Architecture Practice brings business value. IT cuts across all the verticals in the enterprise and a high level digital architecture will add value at all levels.

Adding to that, Avinash Mitaal from Uninor said, “Lifestyles have become digital. Even a personal celebration is incomplete without uploading a selfie on the Facebook. Customer today is connected as well as demanding. The lifespan of Fortune 500 companies too is shrinking. New business models are continuously emerging so it becomes imperative for enterprises to innovate constantly.”
