CIOL C-Change begins in Goa tomorrow

PANAJI: The annual business technology forum, C-Change, jointly organized by Dataquest and CIOL, returns to Goa after two years.

The first C-Change was held in Goa in January 2004. Cairo hosted the annual event last year. The fourth edition of the forum begins here on Thursday.

More than 100 CIOs and business heads are expected to participate in the three-day event to be held at the Park Hyatt Continental. The participants are mostly from over Rs 1000 crore segment in verticals such as Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail and Services.

C-Change '07, Consumaze: Understanding the Evolving Customer, will focus on the changing face of the consumer and the technological innovation that will take customer relationship management into the future.

As in the previous years, the focus is on bringing together the best of breed technology enablers and business drivers under one roof to discuss and debate on issues that have critical and strategic value to the organization.

Alok Shende, India head, Frost & Sullivan will initiate a discussion on the Strategic Value of Measuring Customer Expectations on the opening day. Ruchir Godura, CMO, Airtel Enterprise Services, will deliver the keynote on day two on Managing Change - Living up to Customer Expectations.

Sambamurthy, CMD, Corporation Bank will talk on Segmentation and Differentiation on Day two. S Ravichandran, managing director, TTK Prestige Ltd will discuss Consumer Eco System, while Rajiv Mehta, managing director, Puma, will talk on Partnering for New Markets, Customers and Products.

Highlights of Day three includes a talk on Web 2.0 by Deep Kalra, managing director of MakeMyTrip.com, Prof Rahul De's (of IIM-B) talk on How ICT can Help Grow Rural Economy and a talk on blogs by Prasanto Kumar Roy, chief editor, CyberMedia Group of Publications.
