CIOL, Akamai to host seminar on Digital Delivery

BANGALORE: Akamai Technologies, Inc. in association with CIOL.com, India's first web site to focus on Information Technology, will be hosting a seminar on 'The Dynamincs of Digital Delivery - Going Online with Your Content' at the J.W. Marriott, Mumbai on Friday.

The seminar, targeted at the Media and Entertainment industry, will focus on the need for businesses to realize the importance of a clear strategy for monetizing and distributing valuable digital media assets over the Internet. The seminar will feature industry leaders exploring the emerging market for Digital Media in India.

Jasmeet Singh, vice president, Rediff.com will talk about the challenges of managing content in the broadband era, and Anil Kumar R, vice president, CIOL, will focus on the "Changing World of Indian Media".

Other speakers include Neeraj Rao, CEO of Hungama.com and Milind Naik, CTO of Cricinfo.com. There will be a moderated panel discussion on 'Challenges, Mindsets, Fears and Solutions for Putting Content Online' that will feature Sandeep Mathur, president of VSNL, Krishna Prasad, head of Programming at MSN, and Singh from Rediff.com.
