BANGALORE: Intel Corporation has announced the appointment of Christian

Morales as co-General Manager of Intel Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales and Marketing.

Morales has also been made Vice President of the Intel Sales and Marketing

Group. Morales has had a successful 20-year stint with Intel so far, serving in

various senior management positions covering sales, channel operations and

general management in Europe and Latin America.

In his new role, Morales will share responsibility for the management and

strategic direction of Intel in APAC with Jason Chen who has been the General

Manager for more than a year now. Morales will replace John Breslin, who has

retired after 20 years of service with Intel.

Morales had just completed a stint as Intel’s General Director for Latin

America, during which he set up a new regional headquarters in Sao Paulo and

expanded the number of Intel regional offices to ten. Morales had played a key

role in expanding Intel Capital Investments and establishing extensive education

initiatives. He has worked with businesses and governments to develop a more

sophisticated Internet and telecommunications infrastructure in order to help

countries tap the potentials of the Internet economy.
