Popular Chinese smartphone company OnePlus is soon expected to launch its own online marketplace -oneplusstore.in -for India, according to ETtech.

Citing a top-level executive, the report says that the mobile manufacturer which sells smartphones in the US and Europe primarily through its own portal and carriers has similar plans for an e-commerce portal in India where it will begin selling accessories and fan merchandise, during the festive season.

The Chinese giant which will be joining the likes of Xiaomi, LeEco, Lenovo and Micromax, with their own online channels is also opening its first offline store in Bangalore by the year end, according to Vikas Agarwal, general manager-India, OnePlus.

Reportedly, the web portal will hit the floor this week only and would be selling exclusive products and deals including apparel and lifestyle accessories, to pull maximum customers.
