A satellite positioning terminal will be installed on each official vehicle, the China Daily cited the Guangzhou Daily as reporting Wednesday.

Su Zhijia, secretary of the City Commission for Discipline Inspection, said that through GPS a government car's position can be checked at any time and would show on the map.

The vehicle's travel route could also be tracked on the map. If a car enters a forbidden area, the system will immediately report it.
