Great Wall is deploying VERDE to all knowledge workers located at the company’s Shenzhen manufacturing plants. The solution is expected to dramatically increase the reliability of service to employees, minimize the impact of outages and prevent costly disruptions. Following the internal rollout, Great Wall will begin reselling VERDE to other companies across Asia Pacific.

“With Virtual Bridges VERDE, the data never leaves the datacenter. As a result the entire backup process is fast and easy, ensuring our information is accessible at all times,” said Sun, General Manager for Great Wall’s Information Center. “Priced much more competitively than Citrix and VMware, we expect VERDE will deliver great ROI for Great Wall and our customers.”

“IT organizations need a flexible approach to desktop virtualization that is lightweight, affordable and effective,” said Jim Curtin, CEO of Virtual Bridges. “Virtual Bridges represents the latest advances in desktop virtualization that are flexible, scalable and high-performing, supporting the way companies work today and how they plan to work in the future. We look forward to a long, productive relationship with Great Wall.”
