Cherian appointed T-Systems director

PUNE: Reji Cherian has been appointed as the managing director of T-Systems subsidiary in Pune.

His immediate challenge is to set up a delivery unit for the ICT service provider.

Cherian most recently served as chief technology officer at Shared Services, a subsidiary of Siemens India, where he was responsible for establishing the necessary IT infrastructure and services for the outsourcing of business processes.

Previously, he had worked for Siemens for 16 years.

Cherian has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Karnataka University.

T-Systems India is one of the cornerstones of the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary's delivery platform for its international customer base.
