Have you applied for a new Voter ID and still didn’t receive your card? Don’t worry NVSP (National Voter's Service Portal) has eased voters’ life, you can track Voter ID status online. NVSP has made almost everything online, you can apply new Voter ID, link with Aadhaar, verify your Voter ID, and more.

Tracking Voter ID status is quite simple and can be done in various ways.

You can check the status on the NVSP portal in just three simple steps.

Step 1: Got to the NVSP official website and hover the mouse on “Services Menu” or simply click on “Track Application Status” square button on the home page.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Track Status’ option and you will see another window asking for ‘Reference ID’.

Step 3: Enter the reference ID, which you got when you applied for Voter ID card, whether online or offline and click on “Track Status” button to check the status.

ECI (Election Commission of India) has provided a toll-free number to check your voter ID application status.  You can dial ‘1950’ and follow instructions to know your application status.

Track voter card status through SMS

You can also send a text message from your mobile to check Voter ID status. You need to send your EPIC no in a specific format which we have described in the below table.

Please note that this service is only available in some states.
