Alternatively, one might also send SMS to @vtualerts USN” to 9243342000, to get to know their results. Just in case the official site is down or slow to load due to huge traffic.

VTU Alerts calls itself an online VTU student community, and the site comes with a disclaimer, and a promise, "We are not in any way linked with the official VTU site or VTU itself. If you wish to contact us, please send us an email to admin@vtualerts.com. We promise to get back to you within 24 hours!"

And there is VTU PWN, (http://vtupwn.appspot.com/), which claims to be a "better, faster, smarter way to access VTU results", presumably developed by one Aakash Bapna. Well, it also comes up with a disclaimer, "Aakash Bapna is not responsible for any incorrect results, This site is just a faster, better way to access the results provided by the VTU."

Another website, VTUBuddy (http://www.vtubuddy.com/), self-proclaims as a one-stop portal for all needs associated with VTU, including results.
