Whether you are a fresher or experienced person, your company is deducting a particular PF (Provident Fund) amount. I guess there is no need to explain ‘Provident Fund’, but its important to know how much amount is being deposited in your PF account.

Govt of India and EPFO made this process easy. You can check EPF balance in various ways, SMS, missed call and online (website and app).

Check EPF Balance via SMS

It’s quite simple, you need to compose a message and send that to 7738299899. The format of the SMS should be- EPFOHO<space><UAN><ENG>.

In this “ENG” means your language which is preferably English. The language code will be the first three letters of the language, for example – ENG for English, HIN for Hindi and MAR for Marathi.

Check EPF Balance by Missed Call

Don’t want to send a message, simply dial 011-22901406 and disconnect the call after one ring. Wait for some time and you will receive a message with all the details.

Please note: Above both options will work only for users who have activated UAN and seeded with Aadhaar Card, Bank Account, and PAN.
