CEO stays at Software AG

RESTON, US:The supervisory board of Software AG has extended the contract of CEO Karl-Heinz Streibich until March 31, 2015. This stability in the management team will allow Software AG to continue its expansion program initiated by  Streibich, appointed as CEO in October 2003.

Software AG has seen sustainable profitable growth over the last five years, both in favorable trading conditions and throughout the recession,” stated Dr. Andreas Bereczky, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. “Through the acquisition and integration of IDS Scheer the company is now in a strong growth phase. The decision of the Supervisory Board insures both continuity and stability in this period of change and is also a vote of confidence in the entrepreneurial skills of Karl-Heinz Streibich, and therefore in the continued growth of Software AG.”
