MUMBAI, INDIA: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at its customer conference, Future Unleashed in India spoke about the company's three interconnected ambitions as he reiterated his 'mobile first cloud first' mantra: first, reinventing productivity and business processes, second, creating more personal computing and third, building the intelligent cloud platform.

''Work is not a place you go to, work is when you make things happen where you are. Use tools to collaborate,'' said he explaining how Microsoft looks at mobility.

Citing use cases of  how businesses can leverage cloud and mobile technologies to power the business processes, Nadella explained how startups are poised to change the face of urban India, especially with the momentum seen in the e-commerce, agriculture and healthcare

Microsoft is helping startups with free one year access to $1,20,000 Azure cloud services which will help them work on smart city solutions for cities and local urban bodies.

Microsoft will work closely with e-commerce players JustDial, PayTm and Snapdeal to help them support their business processes, redefine customer experience, and roll out new services, etc.

Microsoft launched cloud services from three local datacenters in India in September this year.

The two-day conferences and technology showcase at Future Unleashed 2015, in Mumbai will see participation of around 3000 attendees including Business Decision Makers, CXOs and IT Professionals across varied industry verticals. Attendees will be given a glimpse into the future of business and technology whilst gaining tangible insights on the latest social and economic changes.
