NEW DELHI: Cellebrum is planning to double its headcount by this year-end.
A provider of value added services to telecom majors in India and across Asia,
Cellebrum has recently tied-up with London-based VAS company ICE to cater to the
telecom markets across the globe.
Cellebrum is eyeing a major pie in the Indian VAS market, which is witnessing on
an uptick. Savinder Sarna, head Marketing and Business Alliance, Cellebrum said
that they have already initiated aggressive plans to offer its services through
major mobile service providers in the country.
The company offers its services to Idea Cellular, Reliance Telecom, Spice
Telecom, Bharti Televentures, Hutch, BSNL, MTNL, HFCL Connect.
The company has increased its headcount to 200 from 150 people in the last four
months. “With the expansion of our offices across the country we have increased
our headcount. We have plans to increase the headcount to 300 by year-end,”
Sarna said.
He said that they have also set up an office in Chennai recently, which would
focus on regional content to tap the market. “The Chennai office would focus on
the south Indian market mainly providing content for the regional customers. We
already have offices in other regions across the country and with the Chennai
office, it will boost our Indian market.”
Cellebrum's entertainment segment is to cater to the subscribers who wish to use
their mobile phones for entertainment. “We offer services across platforms and
it is a one-stop shop for our customers. Our widely popular entertainment
services, both Interactive Voice Response System and SMS based, include Online
Comedy, Voice Chat, SMS Chat and many other services which differentiate us from
other competitors,” Sarna added.
